Hi, I'm Michelle!!

I am a Chicago-based photographer. Born and raised in the Chicago area, I spent five years out in LA and San Francisco working in film. While working in indie film distribution with The Representation Project in San Francisco, I fell in love with the sweeping landscapes of the Bay Area- the Golden Gate Bridge, the rolling hills of the city, and sunrises from Mount Tamalpais in Marin County. When I came across a stunning view, my first instinct was to share it with the people I cared about. So I got a camera and started shooting every chance I could.

I learned that I loved capturing people and their moments as well. My best friends' faces as they watched the sunrise. Knowing glances exchanged between my grandparents on our family vacation. Couples with their funny-looking dogs at the San Francisco pride parade. I started to photograph more events, engagements, and anyone who wanted to save a special moment. 

So now I'm on a mission. To share the magic I see around me. To capture moments that mean something. To someday meet and photograph an alpaca in a plaid sweater (I can dream, right?)
